Mac OS on a Dell 3000

Ok i got the mac os and it installed fine. I can even get onto the internet. I have a PCI nvidea 5700LE card and it works but the audio does not work. I can't get the network to work either. For the audio, mac sees it but it does not for what ever reason work while, on the network every time i open it to configure it it closes b/c of some error or something. I have a dell dimension 3000 w/ a p4 3.00GHz with HTT socket 478 and i think that the chipset is 865PE. I have the intel exstream 2 but like i said i just use the nvidea card and it works. I don't know if i should just buy another pci sound card or what right now it is just the intergraded sound. I really don't need the network to work but if someone knows what the issue is then it would be nice to know.
