silentxzero Posted November 19, 2008 Share Posted November 19, 2008 I installed with the basic configuration, used the speedstepkernel. I boot in perfectly but then I get a screen which tells me that my keyboard is not detected, my sound is working and so is my trackpad. I would use a wireless keyboard but I want to see if I can fix this problem first. I have researched but what I've found on it I don't quite understand, (I am a newbie). Somebody said to try booting in using the vanillkernel but this didn't work either. So please any detailed help would be appreciated. P.S.- I used Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd DVD My laptop is a Gateway M-Series with Intel.
