hello everybody....

 

i'm going to build my PC to be used as a MAC

 

the computer shop suggested me the

motherboard Asus P5Q Pro

CPU Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 Box

video card Geforce FX8400/8500GT

among other things

 

i couldn't find any info regarding the motherboard does anyone knows please

 

it will be very helpful

it should work great else check this board it's 100% compatible

people says that in terms of quality Asus is much more better than Gigabyte...

do you know if once is installed the OSx is it possible to update it via the "Software update"??

my intention is to use it for 3d, video and music production

 

and people that build professional systems for video says that Gigabyte often is not reliable as a Asus

 

but i will check more of course...all i want is to make sure it will work smoothly

I've heard the opposite just as often :D

Gigabyte make solid boards, and quite durable - with the solid capacitor. Asus also make great boards, and many work perfectly with OS X, including, I believe, the P5Q Pro - good board.
