ziggy_909
i have set up Kalyway on my slave drive and have my original xp as my master drive depending on were i place my drive on the IDE cable(and jumper block) i can master boot to xp or osx how do i setup boot priority from either operating system to allow a bootloader to allow os choice on power up.... i know there is a lot of articles out there for single drive multi os boot up, but i cant find the multi drive setup.. any pointers to the right article would be appreciated... i decided to keep them separate for fear of disk wiping all my work ouch!!!! and also to check that the installation of 10.5.2. worked as it was my first ever effort without the complications of partitions (bit tricky when you have a Nforce3 setup.. but have at least got it running with a lot of drivers missing... thats for another day..) Cheers... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137160-multi-booting-over-2-hard-drives/ Share on other sites

Synaesthesia
UPDATE 14 July 2008: Can Darwin Bootloader boot another disk? No, only the first 4 partitions where Darwin is installed. EDIT: you can boot other Mac Disks wit boot-uuid flag: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=115636 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137160-multi-booting-over-2-hard-drives/#findComment-973328 Share on other sites
