bdmarron Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 After months of trying I have finally got an install of OSX86 to work. I still have a few bugs to work out, but I'm sure in time I'll figure them out. I am running a Compaq C770US laptop fresh out of the box without any improvements. I erased the entire hard drive so at this point it's a single boot system. Here are the issues I'm having so far (I know the answers are around here somewhere, but right now I'm too exhausted to look!) 1. When I start the computer up it freezes on the gray apple screen. I've found a work around for this, but I am hoping there is something that I can do to eliminate the problem. 2. No Wifi 3. No Sound 4. No DVD Video Those are what I've come up with so far, but I'm sure I'll find some more. IF you have any quick solutions to any of those problems feel free to let me know, otherwise I'll keep searching! I'll post the specs of the laptop later.
