ColinFox
I have been looking for an answer for this but cant seem to find one. i have tried many OSX86 versions so far. iDeneb v4 has gotten my the farthest on my Dell Inspiron 2200. THe install goes fine and i know that i picked all of the right drivers, but everytime i restart after install (i boot with -v) it gives me all of the scrolling text and i get no errors just a blue blank screen with no mouse.. I have tried to connect an external monitor that didnt work. I have tryed maby 5 or 6 times. I have booted with every choice (-v -x -s -f ect..) I would really like some help. Tell me what to pick from the driver choices. pberthet
Colin, I had the same problem using iDeneb 10.5.5, i corrected it by selecting NO video drivers during the install and just using standard VESA drivers to get the thing up and running. Then i downloaded video drivers for my particular card afterwards. Give that a try and you should at least get the GUI so you can use the OS and then figure out a proper video driver. geiman
Do you have an external monitor? I do my install like this everytime. I install with no video drivers and have the same blue screen with no mouse. I plug in an external monitor, and there everything shows up! I then create my account, etc. and then use OSX86Tools by pcwiz to install GFX strings for the gma 950. Works great for me.
