mackrick
My first post as a newbie and I need advice please. I have spent ages reading various threads on how to install from the Retail Leopard DVD and am totally lost ! I have the following Gigabyte GA-85648FX MBO with SIS chipset Intel P4 2.8 GHZ CPU 1 GB ram A single IDE HD and DVD drive. I have tried using the Boot 132 method and failed completely after trying various downloads from this site. Once booted from the Boot 132 disk and using the rd(0,1)/mach_kernel.modbin -legacy -v rd=diskxsy I have been unable to work out the X and Y (Drive / Partition) numbers. I have tried various combinations and all I ever end up with is the white/grey screen with the apple logo. Can anyone please advise me on the best way to proceed now. Many thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137123-osx-leopard-vanilla-install/ Share on other sites
