sjefdeklerk
Hi, I've succesfully installed 10.5.5, IDeneb on my Asus P5Q DELUXE (P45/ICH10R chipset). Now, my SATA is recognized after the driver installation, but my Mtron 7025 PRO SSD drive is problematic. After 1-10 minutes of running OSX, I always get the 'device removal' error. After that, I can't explore the SSD anymore, I can't launch any new programs anymore (they're even not located on the SSD, since that drive is NOT my install drive) and the system won't even reboot anymore. If I just physically disconnect the SSD drive and boot OSX (it's installed on a HDD, not the SDD), then there's not problem. The SSD works completely fine under Windows. BTW, I just see that after this happens, the Mtron SSD shows up twice under the same SATA port under the serial tab ... When I reboot it shows up normally, just one time, then after a few minutes the error and then it shows up twice Any idea's what's happening here ? sjefdeklerk
Solved !! This was caused by energy saving. After disabling it in both the BIOS and OSX, no more prolbems.
