madman80 Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 Yes. I got mad looking for a reason of why suddenly amsn stoped working. Amsn closes in a few seconds of starting. I'm lucky for keeping a backup of my kexts with osx86tools. So I restored the ketxs and amsn worked again. But now in apple software updates appears Airport Extreme 2008-004 to download. I installed it and amsn stoped working again. So I restored the kexts again and amsn is ok. But now appears Airport Extreme 2008-004 in apple software updates. I learned the lesson. NOT UPDATE Airport Extreme 2008-004 and keep the old kexts. Something in the airport extreme crash amsn. But only amsn, I can surf the internet before and after installing the 2008-004 update. Am I the only one who suffer this issue? Consider this PC is switched to a router by ethernet, no wifi. My mobo is a Gigabyte P35-DS3L and I'm using vanilla kernel.
