framebuffer
Hi! My Hakintosh has an ATI Radeon 2600 Pro (Sapphire) Graphics Card. I downloaded the trail version of iWorks from Apples web site and when I try to launch pages or keynote or numbers it shows a blank window. I searched around the net and found out that some Extreme Quarts has to be supported by the card. I checked from the profiler and my graphics card seems not to support it. Is this a hardware related issue or can it be fixed? If its a hardware related issue then how can we ensure that we buy a card that supports extreme quarts? Or is it an entire issue all-together? Please help! Thanks, fb. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137072-iworks-not-working/ Share on other sites

framebuffer
Thanks for the reply! I did as instructed and enabled Quartz GL. iWorks is still not working. Quartz Extreme is still disabled though. Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137072-iworks-not-working/#findComment-970811 Share on other sites
Karl Taylor
There's a solution on the forum to modify defaults.plist in the resource folder of pages. That worked for me, but I haven't been able to get Keynote or numbers to work..
