koji88
I'm sorry, I was going to delve through the many topics but I thought if you guys have solved this issue before it might be easier to fix. I got OSX to install on my Vaio VGN-FZ180E just fine, in fact I'm dual booting with Windows Vista, however I need a little support to get the right drivers. The following components are not working well or not at all: SigmaTel® High Definition Audio CODEC <-----No sound at all Sony® Visual Communication Camera VGP-VCC4 <------Can't use the webcam (not a big deal, but would be nice) Texas Instruments® PCIxx12 Integrated FlashMedia Controller Driver <-----Haven't tested it yet, but I'm sure this doesn't work either Conexant® HDAUDIO SoftV92 Data Fax Modem with SmartCP <----Modem, not tested, not a big deal if that works out Marvell® Yukon 88E8036 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller <-----Ethernet option does not show up under "Network" menu Intel® Wireless WiFI Link 4965AGN Network Connection <-----Wifi isn't working nVidia GeForce 8400M GT <----Display is working, but at a lower resolution, most likely because of incorrect drivers Interestingly enough my bluray player is working just wonderfully. Well I'm not quite sure if it plays discs exactly, however it does recognize the full name of my drive and can recognize that a bluray disc has been inserted. Perhaps if anyone know of software that could play them would be amazing to find out. Cheers!
