speedooo
I can update my C500 from iATKOS v4i to 10.5.5, but different update order made sleep mode working and broken. 1. install iATKOS v4i from DVD, run extra kext found in here to fix some issures like wireless, battery and memory information. WIRELESS CARD- IOPCIFamily.Leopard.zip http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...19291&st=20 BATTERY Manager http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry808073 MEMORY:-AppleSMBIOSEFI http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...eSMBIOSEFI.kext All good and I followed some instruction found in somewhere made my system update to 10.5.5 (Combo). AND my SLEEEP mode is working after combo update, power light flash and very quick wake up when i press power button. Then I updated QuckTime, iTunes and security, SLEEP mode broken, did NOT wake up and power light not falsh like in asleep. 2. install v4i from DVD and then update to 10.5.5. upgrade QuckTime, iTunes and security, SLEEP mode broken, not working at all. tried run all my three extra kext modules and SLEEP mode does work. as my expected. my questions: 1. after run uname I got information about my kernal is Darwin...9.5.0. is this office version from Apple or iATKOS verion? 2. is kernel control this sleep mode or any kext? from my first experence it's controled by some kext, is that right? which one? thanks, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137001-sleep-mode-question-after-update-to-1055/ Share on other sites
speedooo
I setup two C500 laptops. One is update 10.5.5 combo with fully working sleep mode. TWO is update all software to 10.5.5 like No. 2 in previous post. Which kernel or kext files I cam compare with these two Hackintosh machines? I want to know what is difference from software point of view, because hardware are the same. Any body can give me direction? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137001-sleep-mode-question-after-update-to-1055/#findComment-971655 Share on other sites
