Phridge
I'm planning on building a computer using Intels D945GCLF2 mobo, and I've got this old sata hard drive from my old macbook (poured a cup of tea on it )~: I was just wondering would it be possible to boot straight from the drive? Possibly a stupid question.. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/136781-macbook-hard-drive/ Share on other sites

Phridge
Nice one for the replies guys! Just looked into it and there's a built in app called migration assistant to help you change system. So I can just pop my drive into a friends macbook and use migration assistant to load all the files over. woowoo!
