Hi folks,

just to let you know that despite what was suggested,

I succeeded into multi booting the 3 OSes from chameleon 1.0.11 :-)

Here's what I did:

I created 3 primary partitions (and others non bootable extended).

Then I reused the hint of changing manually the type of a primary MBR based partition to AF (HFS+),

this partition (hfs+) has to be located at the bottom end of your disk, with nothing left behind.

I re injected an existing mac partition by copying another disk to it, but I'm pretty sure you can achieve the same result by making a chameleon boot cd as I also did it that way with 2 OSes.

The only thing to bear in mind is that you *must* use a primary partition for all the *bootable* OSes partitions you will use.

For linux, I also used other extended non-bootable partitions without any problem but, I had to use one primary to boot it.

I'm quite happy about my system now:

GA-EP45-DSL3/E8400@4,05Ghz rock stable(tested continuously 6 hours with OCCT)/4G ram @800MHz,1Tb HD (Spinpoint F1)

running 3 OSes (iDeneb 10.5.5 / Ubuntu 8.10 / WinXP SP2).

Good luck and thanks to InsanelyMac for all this valuable info !
