zzztimbo
Which of the following are the easiest to run OSX86? Inspiron 518, XPS 420, Studio Mini, Studio Slim I would like gigabit ethernet to work. I understand that onboard ethernet may not work and I may have to resort to buying a compatible card. I would like to buy a 24 inch lcd along with it. Which video card would I need to get?

Synaesthesia
I think XPS 420. Reported as working in the wiki. I think he means a Dell Studio Hybrid PC. It's a good idea to search the forum with Google. Like this and this. I would like gigabit ethernet to work. I understand that onboard ethernet may not work and I may have to resort to buying a compatible card.Just look at the wiki: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph..._.28Ethernet.29Netgear Gigabit (GA311) Netgear Model: GA311 Chipset: Realtek RTL8169S Works out of the box. Bonjour works properly! I would like to buy a 24 inch lcd along with it. Which video card would I need to get? Again, check the wiki. Get one of these Ati or nVidia cards: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...5.2#PCI_Express They can all run 24" screens.
