Mononofu
So I tried to install Mac OS X the other day to develop for my iPhone. At first, it looked quite easy - I downloaded iDeneb, burnt and installed it and tried to reboot it. So far, everything worked out as planned. But then, after starting to boot up (boot option selection screen, normal boot splash, etc.) my screen just went black. So I tryed with safe mode and single user mode, but still no luck. In safe mode, the screen just went black as before, and in single user mode also stopped booting before I got a working prompt. (Last message was about waiting for the boot device, then nothing happened anymore) However, the strange thing is that I can boot up from the CD by using "rd=disk0s3" (my OS X partition) as boot parameter, but then, I'm restricted to 1024x768. Therefore I suspect the problem could lie somewhere in the .kext files, but I don't know exactly where. Any ideas on how to find out? Or how I could get my full resolution when booting from the CD (1920x1200)?
