Right,

OK! So I'm happy with everything with my Kalyway Installation. Leopard, 10.5.5 etc etc

Quartz etc all working, everything is fine.. Most of the time I forget I'm a {censored}/cheapskate, and think I actually have a Mac..!

But... When I restart my computer (about every 2 weeks unless needed earlier) I have to unplug the VGA Cable from the laptop, let it boot up ONTO the Laptop's display & then re-plug the VGA cable in and let it switch to the external monitor.

-- this is a pain! Not the end of the world, just annoying! As I hide the laptop UNDER the bed lol along with speakers, external hard drive(s) and control box. Note, I have multiscreen enabled. But I don't use Screen 2.

So.. Does anyone know how I can maybe fix this problem?

I had a problem months ago with no display been shown, so one day I say 'bugger it' (hmm...) and copied all of the video kexts into the extensions folder.. And amazingly it worked. And the VGA cable thing was/is the only issue..

Thanks a lot guys, specs below.
