Anti-Alias Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 Hey. I'm having troubles even getting this thing to Install on my computer. At first, I couldn't get it to boot from the disc, so I had to change my CD-ROM and DVD drive around. Then it started attempting to boot, but, it'd load some stuff then display a message that changes before it could be read. My brother in law put some commands in (I'm not sure which) that he found for it, that caused it to show loading messages again that lasted longer. But, then, it just restarts to the start up screen. Intel Pentium 4 2.2 GHz (SSE & SSE2) Intel i845G Chipset 512 MB of DDR PC2700 RAM 80 GB Internal HD (IDE) and 320 GB WD External (that's not connected during attempted Installation) Can someone help me? It loads more files, but, in the end it fails at something and reboots too fast for me to make out what. I didn't expect it to work for my system, but, it's strange it wont work on my brother in laws system either which is a pretty good one.. I believe the error says something about ACHIP or ACPI or something, lol. Anyone?
