sale666 Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 Ok so i have a pc that i dualboot with vista x64 and mac os x 10.5.4 (iatkos) since ideneb 10.5.5 wont install for me... all works flawless except the damn ethernet! i cant get internet on it! grrr i have a wifi dongle D-link DWL-G122 REV C1 but can't find drivers for mac os x! I had a D-Link USB dongle before my laptop tilted off centre and slid off my lap onto the couch and crunched it in half . I went PC card after that! Anyway this driver got it working before I killed it.. Ok .. try this page and download the second USB driver .. sale666 Posted November 14, 2008 Author Share Posted November 14, 2008 hey thank you soooo much! my wifi now works perfectly! however im still wondering why my ethernet is showing cable unpulgged! i have selected drivers for networking nforce and i selected realtek! my board is ASROCK NF6G-VSTA so im quite unsure what to select! next time ill select all networking drivers? bad idea? sale666 Posted November 15, 2008 Author Share Posted November 15, 2008 Hey thanks i did read all of it however i do not understand what forcedeth is and how to edit a ktxt! im a noobie at os x i was installing firefox for 20 minutes lol! than i understud i need to drag it to applications lol! that tells you all my knowlage about os x XD.. Is there any specific driver aviable for download for my motherboard? i see that i have some kind of "PHY 8201CL" chip that has issues with OS X... sale666 Posted November 16, 2008 Author Share Posted November 16, 2008 yes i require ethernet since im cable connected to a router in my other flat! so thats kinda a problem! i do have wireless working but signal is low since its armed concrete between flats!
