sohnemann
Hi there! As you can see, I'm having some issues with getting my ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 to work with iDeneb 1.3; mostly because I don't know... how. I tried some of the driver combinations, but all of them returned graphic glitches so far... can anyone tell me which driver could work? sohnemann
Weeh, that's quite a bummer Isn't there any driver that... KINDA works? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/136288-what-drivers-will-i-need/#findComment-965974 Share on other sites
sohnemann
Sorry for bumping, but this thread went to page 2 pretty fast... isn't there some kind of driver that at least supports rudimentary stuff? dies
Not sure what you mean by "rudimentary"... If you mean just having a display period, then yes, plain vesa *should* work for you just by removing any drivers specific to the card. In your case just removing all the ATI specific drivers should get you a somewhat "usable" display if you don't have one now. You'll probably be stuck on a low resolution with no other available and maybe some stuff that requires acceleration just won't work. Yeah, I tried that, but with no drivers whatsoever installed, I got the same graphics glitches as usual. Again, only the safe mode worked...
