theblvd Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 I upgraded from a Celeron e1200 to an e8400, and it won't boot anymore. The error I'm getting is "still waiting for root device". When I put the e1200 back in, there's no problem. I'm booting off an ATA, with one SATA non-bootable drive. When I reset the CMOS, nothing changes. Any ideas?
