x2PhaNToM
Hello! I've just got my ne HP 550 Notebook. I've got everything to work (except LAN) and now the only issue is sleep. It just does not work. ATM I have iDeneb 10.5.4 + 10.5.5 Update installed. I'm running vanilla kernel, and when i put my notebook to sleep the display turns off an then just nothing happens. Same problem appeared when I had installed Kalyway 10.5.2 with sleep kernel. Voodoo 9.5 also does not work. Is there a way to get sleep to work on my machine? Maybe with other ACPI kexts? Thanks! gprince
Hi, I have the same notebook (maybe different if your wifi is not an intel card), I installed a 10.5.5 edition, and got the same sleep problem as you. But the sleep worked with Kaliway 10.5.2 with either Vanilla or SleepKernel, you just have to deselect everything in PowerManagement at the installation of Kaliway, and after install the ACPIBatteryManager kext. If your ethernet is 82562GT you can make it work.
