GRardB
So I've got LawlessPPC installed, and it's working almost 100% stable most of the time. I downloaded Zephyroth's Software Update thing to try to update to 10.5.5. It's been about an hour and 10 minutes, and it's still on "Detecting cpuids for MacOSXUpd10.5.5.pkg ..." It doesn't have percentages, but I'm estimating by the progress bar that it's maybe 10-13% done? It seems like it's taking way too long. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks, Gerard P.S: My processor is AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ and I have 2GB RAM. Not spectacular, but nothing ever runs slow, so I doubt that's the problem. GRardB
I guess out of the 38 views, nobody could say "That's how long it took mine," or "No, it shouldn't take that long." Whatever, I let it go all night and tried rebooting, tried numerous times, but nothing works. Thanks anyway! Synaesthesia
It shouldn't take that long. Try googling insanelymac for cpuid, or for updating AMD to 10.5.5 site:insanelymac.com Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/135857-updating-lawlessppc-to-1055/#findComment-964564 Share on other sites
