Kalyway OSX86 reinstallation on Dual Boot system

I have a dual boot system - Windows Vista 32bit Business, and Kalyway 10.5.2 Leo - but after a few days of not using OSX, whenever I try and boot into it, it says there is an error when trying to login. I have succesfully got into OSX but using safe mode, but after I rebooted the computer again, I was not able to get in using safe mode again. I tried to change the password using my install disc, but it doesn't work. There is always the same error. It doesn't give any details on the error.

 

My question is: is there a way to reinstall OSX without srewing up my boot loaders and Vista? I had a hell of a time getting it to dual boot in the first place, and im a little wary about losing all my data on Vista.

 

Any suggestions / tips would be much welcome!
