deekaey Posted November 11, 2008 Author Share Posted November 11, 2008 so i got the dvd i burned JaS 10.4.8 sse2 & 3 and ppf 2 &3 it installed on my dell inspiron 600m after tweaking some install settings during install on my desktop ^^^ the cd takes forever to run ( much slower on my MUCH faster computer ) the installer stops installing halfway through and says "Please retry installation" or something like that i have my seagate ide 120gb hd hooked up on primary and dvd drive on slave another 60gb ide on another ribbon primary sata 500gb what could my problem be? i tried removing my video card ( 8600gts pcie ) after noticing it was only showing up as 14m video ram ( yes fourteen ) and im now running on my 64mb shared on board video... with some but very little improvement in installation speed but still stopping the installation help pls =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/135663-can-my-set-up-even-run-osx86/#findComment-962520 Share on other sites More sharing options...
