By "drives" do you mean your hard drive(s) or your optical drive(s) or both? Assuming that you mean your hard drive(s), is the installer not recognizing them or not in Disk Utility either. Most likely, what you need to do is as soon as you get to the point in the installer where there are menus at the top, go to Utilities > Disk Utility and click on a drive or disk, then go to the "Erase" tab, select "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" and choose a name. Then click "Erase" and when it finishes, close the window. Then, the installer should recognize your drive.

Hope this helps,

Here's what you should do first:

1) Download Cute Partition Manager; it's a great program that I use all the time

2) Repartition your HD (As FAT16) to make sure that Disk Utility didn't just go funky

3) Find and post the specs of your HD

I think in the end the easiest way out will be to try Kalyway 10.5.2; it seems to have the most driver support from my personal experience, but I'm also pretty new at this so I don't know for sure.

Cheers,
