onuo Posted November 9, 2008 Share Posted November 9, 2008 I've just found out my Precision 670 is very compatiable with OSX. Since moving over to macs 3 years back we now have 9 of them ! The dell is pretty much the last XP machine I have, so would love to move it over. I've already got a working retail version of 10.5 on disc which I have used to install OS X onto my macs. From reading up on this, it would make more sense and less time downloading for me to use this disc and boot 132 USB to install, however I cannot find a guide which identifies how to make the boot 132 USB on a mac for the dell. Also I'm very confused about kexts, where to get them from and which ones I need for the Dell. I've been building and using PCs/MACs for years however do not know linux - can anyone point me in the right direction > TIA!
