I just installed the iAtkos 4i "OSX 10.5.4" distribution on my Dell XPS m1730. When I did the install I partitioned the hard drive did a clean install. The only drivers I chose were the following:

Video: NVinject for 256 and 512 and the NVinject Go

System: SATA

Network: Intel

The system starts up fine and I can get to a desktop. I get the following message on startup: "System extension cannot be used The system extension "/System/Library/Extensions/NvinjectGo.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update"

I cannot choose a screen resolution other than 1024x768.

The sound does not work.

Neither the Ethernet nor the Wireless network connections work.

The specifications of the laptop are as follows:

Intel Core 2 Duo T8300(2.4GHz, 800Mhz, 3M L2 Cache)

4GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm

NVIDIA SLI Dual GeForce 8700MGT with 512MB GDDR3 Memory (256 memory per GPU)

Intel 4965 WLAN (802.11a/g/n) Mini Card

AGEIA PhysX Physics Accelerator

Logitech Gaming LCD

Sigmatel Audio Chipset

If anyone knows how I may get the video, sound and network working it would be a great help.

Thank You

Hello,

I was able to get the sound to work using AppleHDAPatcher_v1.16.

I also was able to get one of the 8700m GT working using NVkush.

I am still unable to get either of the network adapters working. I tried iwi4965. This did not work.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thanks
