manofmany
I got everything installed successfully. When the Darwin bootloader comes up it allows me to press f8 and input options, but if I don't and let it run, it just reboots the computer. I'm open to options. Asus board AMD Processor 3gb DDR2 Also, I installed iDeneb on my nforce board. Used the AMD patch and did not change kernels.. notetoself
I'm far from expert on this and can only offer my experience with similar issues. FIRST of all... check out my signature below my post -- if you can identify all of the individual components of your hardware that would help greatly... such as chipsets, etc. I had the same reboot problem you're describing... after hours of searching for a solution, I determined that I had selected a kernel that was incompatible with my hardware... thus suffering endless reboots. In the end, my system runs best on the vanilla kernel. But then again, I'm still suffering a few setbacks (like random kernel panics) so ultimately I may wind up having to switch yet again... Start with the kernel though... try a few different options and see if you get any further.
