de_autojohn Posted November 8, 2008 Share Posted November 8, 2008 Hi, I want to install iaktos because i've a tutorial: how to make my quad core work, and it is with iaktos, i downloaded it and when i burn it on a slow speed everything is normal, but when i try to boot from my cd, it starts up, i boot with: -v -x -f cpus=1 and than he says still waiting for root device, if i try to install ideneb, everything goes perfect, no still waiting for root device problem :s, my ide dvd reader is second master, and my ide hd is first master... What am I doing wrong? My pc: Asus P5N-E SLI retail intel Q6600 Nvidia 8800GT 4gb ram and the tutorial is for my asus P5N-E... so please help ! What is also allright is to get my quadcore work in ideneb, drivers for my 8800gt, than I would also be happy AND ! have wireless or internet with the cabe, i need that so much, i wouldn't use vista anymore!
