I am running an old machine (p4 sse2, P4P800 DX, pata + sata drive, realtech or onboard 3com ethernet, msi fx5600 video card, 2 GB ram).

I manage to install iDeneb 10.5.5, disabling sata + lan + other performance feature in bios. The installation seems to work fine, selecting xnu kernel, ichx fix, natit 128 MB, A97 audio. It boots normally after install, but when it comes to the fancy osx setup process, it loops to the welcome video (without rebooting) when I choose not to import stuff form any other source in the screen "Do You Own a Mac".

Is there is a way to bypass this registration process ?

I tried with -x -v everything seems ok. I tried the other sse2 kernels and other option, without any improvement. If I put my ethernet card in during the installation, I can't even finish the install.

I was running iAtkos 10.5.1, and everything was working fine, except for osx own problems, finder, ical ... Is there is a way to use my old profile to bypass the setup process ?

Thank you for your help.

At the f8 boot prompt type:

"Graphics Mode"="640x480x32"

when it boots it'll skip the intro because 640x480 is too low.. first open system preferences, then make a new admin account.

reboot, boot -v, log in with your new admin account.
