Moderator: Please change ST3250824AS in the topic title to WD1500ADFD - I changed my mind on the HD I ordered.

Here is my parts list for my new Windows/OS X/Linux rig:

Intel D945GNTLKR Motherboard

Intel Pentium D 940 3.2GHz Presler SSE3

Creative Labs Sound Blaster CT4810 PCI

Netgear WG311T 108mbps PCI WiFi card

2X 1 GB DDR2 667MHz PC2-5300

Western Digital Raptor 150GB 10K 16MB SATA

ATI X1600 PRO 512MB PCIe x16

Other items I'll be using:

Samsung 214T LCD with HDCP

Tosh/Samsung DVD+/-RW DL 16X SH-S162A

Lite-On DVD-ROM 16P9SV

600watt SilverStoneTek Power Supply

1.44MB Floppy Drive (BIOS Flashing)

Thermaltake Big Typhoon CL-P0114

Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000

The X1600 is right now mainly for my Windows OS but once we can get it working as well as the GMA900/950 does under OS X I'll at least already have one. Until then I'll just pop into the BIOS real quick and disable the PCIe to boot from the GMA950 when I go to load OS X. I'll have my Samsung LCD plugged DVI into the X1600 and VGA into the onboard. Simple BIOS setting and 1 button on the monitor and I'll be able to switch from the card to the onboard whenever I want to booting one OS or the other. Ethernet, yes the onboard works perfectly on this board however my rigs location means I needed a PCI WiFi card and the one I choose appears to be fully supported by 10.4.5 as AirPort, WPA2 included.

I'll be posting back once I get all of my parts and reporting what BIOS versions, Firmware versions, which patched OS build, and EXACTLY what had to done to get everything working. BTW, I'll be using Labtec 2.1 speakers through the 1/8" jack on the PCI sound card so I don't have to switch jacks when booting a seperate OS since this boards audio jacks are reversed under OS X.
