arek_chicago Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 i have successfully installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on my laptop hp dv2617us. graphic x3100 perfect, sound oob, maxwell yukon ethernet fixed. just need to buy usb wireless. speedstep kernel does great job. no problem with the fan on all the time. if anybody has any questions page me anyway. after installing tons of software and upgrading my different applications i noticed that i double menus. look at picture. also there is mysterious square around close button in firefox but not in other maximized windows. just curious if anybody experienced the same problems now i have desktop and laptop workin-g great, when i get richer i will buy original mac :-) for now, hackintoshes for the poor := Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/134888-i-have-double-menus-see-screenshot-any-ideas/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
dies Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 just curious if anybody experienced the same problems I've seen that before, but only after coming back from suspend. Logging out and back in fixes it in that case.
