MazzaD
Hey guys! I installed iDeneb 1.3 today on my laptop and almost everything works perfectly! My Specs: Mainboard : SiS M7X0SU Chipset : SiS 730 Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile @ 2000 MHz Physical Memory : 4096 MB Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS Hard Disk : TOSHIBA (320 GB) DVD-Rom Drive : Optiarc DVD RW AD-5590A Network Card : Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) SiS191 Wireless Card: Realtek RTL8187B Sound Card: SiS Realtek AC'97 My network card "SiS191" does not work. My sound card "SiS Realtek AC'97" also doesnt work. My wireless card "Realtek RTL8187B" also doesnt work but its not in my priority list. When installing, under custumize i didnt select neither any Audio or Network because i was unsure. If that is the problem and i need to select an option available there for it to work tell me so. I appreciate any advice anyone has to give me. I really just want to get my network and audio card working. Thanks in advance! ellite
Hey there. I've exactly this board. And i've got everything to work except the Ethernet. i have a folder in my flash drive with all needed drivers and txt with info in how to install it. if you want it just PM me and i upload the folder to a server and PM you back with the link. By the way i'm using iDeneb 1.4 Leopard 10.5.6 I can't use sleep, so i need a program to be running that prevents sleep when i close the lid. Is your laptop able to sleep? if so tell me how please Say something Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/134746-help-no-network-with-sis191-on-idened-13/#findComment-1113835 Share on other sites
Jam_Tha_Dj
hey. Mine is able to sleep, but with ideneb 1.3 10.5.5 I can't get it o work on 10.5.6 :X In 10.5.5 i just need the 9.2.0 Sleep kernel or the 9.4.0 =) My sound card is working with micro and headphones. Graphic card works fine after a sleep display. (do you know how to fix it?) Ethernet not working. Everything else works fine. Elr
Hey there. Everything is working now. The kexts here. Use Kexthelper to install them. Ethernet working and Audio working with micro and headphones. Audio works fine but ethernet doesn't. It's detects the as a ethernet interface, but when i try to use DHCP it doesn't work, it gets wrong settings. The deviceid is correct on the kext, 1039:0191. I also noticed it gets the wrong macaddress for the card. it gets ff:ff:ff:ff(etc) Any thoughts or ideas? Cheers and thanks for the kexts Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/134746-help-no-network-with-sis191-on-idened-13/#findComment-1142501 Share on other sites
