Hello! I'm rather new to the site. I got the Kalyway 10.5.2 working on my Dell Inspiron E1505, although there is no USB support, sound, or WiFi.

Unfortunately, when I attempt to boot into Vista using the Darwin loader, I get the "BOOTMGR is missing, Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart" message. I figure if I use the Vista DVD to repair this, it will knock out the Darwin loader. I tried using GParted to add the boot flag to the Vista partition, but this merely bypasses the Darwin loader, and the BOOTMGR message persists.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get both OSs to work together?

I have a very similar setup, (Kalaway 10.5.2 and Vista Ultimate). I did not have this problem specifically but had similar problem and I solved it by booting off the Vista Installation DVD and reseting the Vista partition to active. (Go to Command Prompt, then type "diskpart", "list disk", then find the disk Vista is installed on and type "select disk x", where "x" is the drive number. Then "list partition" and "select partition x"; once again where "x" is the partition Vista is installed on. Finally type "active", then "quit".)

Once you have set the Vista partition to active you should be able to reboot back into Windows and download "EasyBCD" Install it then go to "Add/Remove Entries". There should be an option to add a "Mac" entry. Select the "Type" as "Generic X86 PC" or something along those lines then name it. From there all you have to do is click add and reboot. You should boot into Vista's boot manager and be able to select both Windows and Mac OS. When you choose Mac, it should take you to Darwin.

You should probably specify whether you have both Windows and Mac on the same hard drive or separate ones, but in the end it should make no difference, I think.
