HKK
Hi everybody after some unsuccessful attempts I installed Leopard to my Acer Aspire 3002. I used Zephyroth 10.5.2 rev1. The install worked, but when I boot with -v (and either with or without -x), I get "Still waiting for root device". I installed MBR EFI, and chose the SSE3 9.0.2 Kernel. I read the last three lines can be useful to determine what went wrong so here they are: Found mouse PNP device AppleACPIPS2Nub startup complete Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style. Still waiting for root device These are the specs: Amd Sempron Mobile 2800+ Drive controllers: IDE (ATA/EIDE/ATAPI) Chipset: SiS M760 256 Mb ram The graphics are integrated SiS I have a Knoppix disk so I can take a look at the installation, but I don't really know what to look for. Any help or hints would be much appreciated. HKK Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/134328-extension-has-immediate-dependencies/ Share on other sites
