Hello.

I've been trying for months to get this working, but I can't get it done. I just get this kernel panic. I don't really mind which version I get (Tiger or Leopard) anymore.

I thought someone has similar specs to mine and got it working.

Anyway here's my system specs:

Motherboard: Asus P5VD2 MX-SE

Specs

Processor: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2140 LGA775 (supports SSE3)

Specs

RAM: 2pcs x 1GB DDR2 533 Kingston

Video Card: Inno3d Nvidia Geforce 7300GT GDDR3 256MB PCI-E

Specs

Hard Drives:

1. Seagate Barracuda 160GB 7200rpm SATA

2. Western Digital 40GB 7200rpm PATA IDE (this is the target drive. my seagate contains WINXP and i unplug it prior to booting the OSX86 DVD installer)

Other Devices:

1. Intex Firewire Controller

okay so I tried many "versions" of osx86 already:

1. kalyway

2. kalyway (with Jmicron patch)

3. Leo4All

4. JaS

5. iAtkos

At first, they had the root device problem. I got through it with the "rd=disk0s1" command. Now I get this kernel panic and I can't get through it.

here's what it says:

nfs_boot_init failed with 6/n"@/volumes/disk1s2/leo_xnu/xnv-1228/bsd/nfs/nfs_ufsops.c:851

Can anyone give me advice on what to do? Are there any more versions of osx86 that I haven't tried yet?

If anyone could help me, i'd be grateful

is there a board that actually guarantees that it will work? and also supports my current CPU, RAM, etc? If i buy another board, i might just waste money?

yes - a logic board from apple :) use this search engine for more informations http://www.google.com/coop/cse?cx=00948655...297:e41g72sr-ba

you tried for months and didn´t read the hardware wiki? come on........that´s a joke :(

yeah really. hardware wiki? is that the list of the working hardware? my board isnt there, but it doesnt mean it wont work, does it? :)

wow someone has the exact same board as mine... I guess i'll PM him.

wait, so if the board works, is it sure that it will work on mine too? or it also depends on the CPU, RAM, and etc?

hey someone has the same board as me. Ill PM him.

hmm ill think about it. but someone with the same board already got it to work...

and if i change my board, i would have to reinstall my OSes...

and by the way, the guy with the same board as mine got it to work but SATA didnt work. My only DVD drive is SATA.. do you think thats the problem? :(

here's what the panic looks like:
