simplyskate Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 Hey guys, I have a Sigmatel High Def Audio card and it shows up in system preferences as 'HD Audio Output', but no sound comes out of the internal speakers in my laptop. Im not sure exactly what drivers it uses or anything, but from what I've read it might be the same as the STAC9220? I've tried installing different AppleHDA kexts from places but with no luck. simplyskate Posted October 30, 2008 Author Share Posted October 30, 2008 Never mind, Ive got it working now. I used the AppleHDA Patcher and grabbed my own Linux dump of the codec.
