Red
sorry previous port was cut: noob inside I was saying.... I own an Inspiron 9300 and my x300 works perfectly at 1600x1200x32 by setting "Graphics Mode" at boot time. Now, i made a screenshot screenshot_ati.tiff of my system profiler and it says i have no Quartz Extreme. To be honest i don't exactly know what does that means by i argue it's a bad thing. The Screensaver works (well, when i access the preferences just after booting it crashes, but trying a second time it shows the preview and the test button displays a very SLOW rendering). The Chess Game displays the initial chessboard but the pieces doesn't move. The Image Preview diplays a gray screen. VLC works but goes veeeeery slow. My Xbench score is 57. Im' not sure if i want to upgrade to 10.4.5 or 10.4.3 cause actually 10.4.1 for me is very stable and the majority of my devices works (except for the wireless card). Is there someone that has achieved QE working with x300 Mobiity on 10.4.1? Suggestions appreciated Red Forgot, I installed everything with te "deadmoo&dd to partition" technique. Just for information overload i attach my profiler outputtiger_x86.rtf Red Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13372-ati-mobility-radeon-x300-co-qe-on-1041/#findComment-85119 Share on other sites
