Misled Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 I have never used a Mac and was curious when I saw an article called "Hackintosh" about installing OSX on a PC. Being I already had a motherboard that was supposed to be very compatible(ECS 945g-M3) so I bought another hard drive to install OSX Kalyway 10.5.1. on. The install seemed to be going well,got to the install successful screen then it rebooted with the install disk still in the DVD drive and next this message was displayed "system config file '/com apple.boot. plist not found" ! So then I took the install disk out of the DVD drive and rebooted and then got this message " B0 error" . I of course googled both of these messages but could not find an answer that seemed applicable so I decided the best thing to do was post this here to see if someone else has encounted this problem.
