OSX_ZWS
Hey I appreciate your post. I tried installing OSX on this motherboard a few months back, and was unsuccessful. It would freeze during Darwin boot. I beleive the ACPI-FIX would take care of my problem. I am new to the OSx86 project, and was wandering if you could explain exactly what that is, and how you apply it. Thanks!!!! Sorry, I meant what the ACPI-FIX is. Last post read a little confusing!!! Byteryder
I Assume you are using bios 4.0. You will have to boot with the cpus=1 otherwise you get the gray screen from my experience. Once you are able to get the login you should install the latest EFI v 9 so you can use a DSDT file. I am working on a procedure for this. I have a DST.asl moded to enable all 8 cores but you have to install efi v9 first. I will post the guide when complete I hope this helps Ok, so 1.
