Ferdinando
I don't know if this is the right section, but I'm really desperate about solving this problem. This is the problem: when I lunch the installation, the system does not goes on and when I use the diagnostical mode it appears the error of "still waiting for root device". I know that usually this appears after the installation, but to me it appears before. iceyone
I had this issue when trying to install the same on an internal hard drive. The only way i could get it to work (i am posting from this, on a dell optiplex gx280) was to install it on a usb hard drive in a external caddie (cost me 50-60 aus). I selected the following options as well as disabling ethernet and internal hard drive: ac97 - sound works out of the box ichx acpi power management installed the sse 2 and sse3 kernel I would suggest trying this: boot with -v -x (safe mode) http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...for_root_device may also help you. hk_2000_pe
I had the same issue as you. On laptop setup (press esc after boot and then F10) be sure that IDE is selected for your HD. I hope it solve your problem. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/133496-problem-in-installing-ideneb-13-osx-1055/#findComment-1211761 Share on other sites
