Good time of the day.

My system has:

Motherboard: Asus P5GD1 Rev 1.xx

Chipset: Intel i915P/i915G

South Br.: Intel 82801FB (ICH6)

LPCIO: Winbond W83627EHF

BIOS: American Megatrends 1010/001

RAM: DDR 2Gb

Processor: Intel P4 630 (Prescott) 3.00GHz SSE3

I have DVD-Rom connected to IDE Primary (as a Master) and also IDE harddrive connected to IDE Primary.

I use this configuration `cause i have RAID -controller, so... Mac OS can`t use it.

I try to install iATKOS_4i (MAC OS X 10.5) but i can`t `cause installer say "80-conductor cable not detected on primary channel".

Some time before i used Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.8 (JAS) without problems, but i can`t install Leopard now.

So can U tell me what`s wrong with my system?

Thank U! :)

I know this is a dated post but hopefully you are still there: I have almost the very same cofiguration with yours, (motherboard, chipset, ram, and processor are all the same in my pc) but I even could not get any of iAtkos or Jas working (this was last year  ). Hopefully I'm gonna try again these days. So, how could you get past the gray apple screen? Have you tried any newer version, and could you get any version to work? please could you give me some info??

Thanks a lot :)
