shadowfall
I have tried all the flavors of OSX so far - from .4.1 to .4.4 Thing is on my Vaio, the only one that installs and boots perfectly is 10.4.1. The sad part is that it supports only 1024x768 w/o QE and CI. I ave tried installing 10.4.3, but the installer DVD gives me a blue screen. I tried doing the screen swap (i.e Fn + F7) and the installer runs and installs. Unfortunately on rebooting I get a blue screen. 10.4.3 has worked only 2 times so far after installation - and I have no clue why. When I restarted, I got a blue screen. But it worked at 1280x800 with full QE and CI support. Does anyone have a workaround/idea on how to fix it. I tried -v and got this message - gfx0 : family not found Not the exact message, but close. Please help! Thanks System: VAIO FS630W 1.73 Ghz 512 Mb RAM Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS, 910 GML express chipset.
