tylerwylie
I installed Kalyway 10.5.2, and I installed with the Sleep, Speedstep, Vanilla, and Kaly kernel. I'd like to just keep the Sleep and Speedstep kernel, but have no idea on how to do so, otherwise whenever I turn it on it tries to boot the Vanilla kernel and kernel panics, I can boot fine if I just choose sleepkernel. Any ideas? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/132977-uninstalling-kernels/ Share on other sites
fragreaver
I'd boot with parameter -s (single user boot) and type... - the shown command to write to your disk ( /sbin/mount -uw / ) rm -rf /mach_* and then install the one you need again from the install disk (normal setup, just select the appropiate kernel) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/132977-uninstalling-kernels/#findComment-942686 Share on other sites
tylerwylie
Is there a way I can do this without the install disk? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/132977-uninstalling-kernels/#findComment-942905 Share on other sites
