Darnell Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 My JaS 10.4.8 DVD boots with no error (AHCI turned on in the bios) but Leo4All 10.5.2 and JaS 10.5.4 dont work even with ahci turned on or off and has the usual Waiting for root device. I have a Compaq Presario SR2170NX but a Geforce 8600 GT and another stick of ram was added in so i have 2 1gig sticks. Specifications: ATI RADEON EXPRESS 1100 motherboard Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT video card 160 gig hard drive (SATA) 2 x 1Gig RAM DDR2 TSSTcorp(Samsung) Dvd writer (set to master) Intel Pentium 4 3GHZ 450 watt power supply Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
