xxlinksyncxx Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 Hi guys, I'm a new guy here with no experience whatsoever with installing OS X on a PC. Would like to ask if it is possible to install Kalyway 10.5.2 on this PC, specs below: System Manufacturer: Acer System Model: Aspire E500 BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.20GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 512MB RAM Card name: ATI Radeon x200 Manufacturer: ATI Display Memory: 256.0 MB HDD Model: ST316002 3AS SCSI Disk Device It is SSE2 capable and I have not been able to install Kalyway on it at all. The HDD does not appear during installation and when I try to install Kalyway on another drive (Seagate Barracuda ST315324A) that I had configured as a slave and partitioned with disk utility, it hanged when the installation said "About 32/34 minutes remaining". Anyone had experience with this PC? I have not done any customization of it other than adding in the Seagate HDD. Please advise, thanks!
