walkz187 Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 i was trying to install OSX on my PC last night. when i started the compter i boot the disc but get this error system config file /com.apple.boot.plist' not found. i tried it on my laptop the disc starts copying the files on my laptop in dos mode. but i stopped the install as i want this on my desktop. i looked osx86project.org but couldnt find any help. so any help would be great thanks i have a intel core duo 2.4 asus motherboard 2 gig ram Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
realityiswhere Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 You failed to mention which disc you used.. it's probably because of an IDE dvd drive.. you can find .ppf patch files for this issue at (chameleon DOT osx86 DOT hu ), depending on your disc. you just need a .ppf patcher for windows/linux, whichever platform you're on.
