turtle8
Hello All, I am pretty much a noob when it comes to installing Mac OS on a PC. I've got plenty of experience using the OS, though. I have successfully installed Kalyway 10.5.2 into my custom PC. The motherboard is an MSI K9A2VM. The SATA ports are controlled by SB700. The computer boots fine into Mac OS on my IDE drive but my SATA drive is not recognized. How do I fix this? -Michael Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/132657-how-to-recognize-my-sata-drive-after-install-onto-ide/ Share on other sites
turtle8
Hey, I got Mac OS to recognize my SATA drive. After reading these forums, I learned how to change the RAID mode to AHCI. Now my computer sees both hard drives. I was able to boot up from the SATA drive. Yay!
