DJElo Posted October 22, 2008 Share Posted October 22, 2008 Heya, quick question really.. Is there a way to use the dvd player app for all region dvd's without having to switch between regions? I know I can use vlc etc.. but would be handy if it worked in dvd player aswell. Im guessing (from googling) this isn't as easy as modifying some files for the dvd player to skip regioncheck. LJSeinfeld Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Re-flash the firmware of the drive to a region free one. http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php Note that flashing anything can lead to a bricked anything.... but I've always had success with the items there. You may need to boot into windows to do this (depending on the drive)..
